Our courses are challenging and we're proud of that. We believe that challenge in beautiful places is transformational. We strive to balance challenge with safety. Learning and growth cannot happen in situations where the consequences for failure are life and limb.
Training
Our staff hold wilderness first aid and other relevant certifications from internationally recognized organizations, in addition to extensive in-house training.
Experience
Our instructors bring thousands of miles and thousands of hours of outdoor leadership to Wayfinder Outdoors. They have spent extensive time leading others through wilderness areas all over the world.
When you spend this much time in so many different places, you end up dealing with a wide array of medical, environmental and logistical challenges. This gives us ability to keep our cool under stress and solve problems in the safest, most effective way.
Risk Management
We minimize your exposure to unnecessary risk, but the reality is that we are able to eliminate risk entirely. We cannot control nature. Nature, and life, is full of risk.
We believe risk can be a useful tool when it is used with discretion.
