Explore the edge zones, the often overlooked overgrown and abandoned spots along roads and power lines, which are teeming with life and resources. We will show you how to identify and utilize the natural resources found in these areas, including food, medicine, shelter, and tools. Join us to learn about the abundance that surrounds us, hidden in plain sight. Expect to walk over uneven terrain with some small hills. Please wear shoes appropriate for walking off-trail and dress in layers appropriate for the weather. Bring a water bottle and a snack. We will cancel for thunderstorms and cold rain. We will email you with a google maps pin of specific parking and meetup locations.
