Private Wilderness Navigation Lesson

Details

We’ll meet at a local park where you’ll learn everything you need to know to stay found in the wilderness and then get lots of practice using your new skills. Private instruction is perfect for people who need to get skills down quickly, or who have lots of questions. I’ll provide materials (map and compass) but please bring any maps you may have of places you plan to explore or are familiar with, and your own compass if you have one. Please bring a small backpack with water and weather appropriate layers, sunscreen and bug spray if applicable. Dress for conditions and wear footwear for hiking.
